A Beautiful Story
For over 43 years, Snowline has provided end-of-life care and grief support services for your loved ones – your soulmates, moms and dads, brothers and sisters, children, and friends and neighbors.
And here is one of their stories shared by our Spiritual Care Provider, Cynthia:
Sarah, the mother of two, opened her eyes when I walked into the bedroom and said: “I’m ready to die.” Her eyes, like her spirit, were full of life as her body failed her. Using the last of her energy, she believed what was most important to her right now was to prepare her family for her death and life without her. She said it was the right thing to do and something she could do. It was her last act of love and kindness, her final gift to them. She wanted to offer her son and daughter the gift of normalizing her death as a part of the natural rhythm of life. Sarah’s mother was in awe of the strength, courage, and compassion she gave the family until her death. Her final spiritually fulfilling gift was to care for her family as she watched them struggle with their grief and loss.
You, too, may have a story about the physical, emotional, and spiritual care Snowline provided your family or friends during a loved one’s precious final days. Your donation to Snowline helps make it possible.
Thanks to supporters like you, so far in 2022, we cared for 1014 patients, 273 Veterans, and we enhanced our Children’s Bereavement Program by serving more children under age six than ever before.
We are asking for your support to continue our mission in the coming year, especially as we:
⚫ Build a Memorial/Healing Garden for the community to use as a place of solace or for Celebration of Life ceremonies or other gatherings
⚫ Develop our “Final Wish Fund,” which is an opportunity to fulfill the wishes of our patients without regard to financial obstacles
⚫ Create a Nursing Residency Program to help recent graduates transition into Hospice and become experienced nurses
Your gift supports our heart work.
All of us with Snowline wish you joy, laughter, and peace during this special season.
With sincere gratitude,
